I’m a hopeless romantic, a visual storyteller, and a lover of the timeless magic of Super 8 film.

“Jessah Blessah Films” is the name of my business not only because Jessah Blessah is my nickname, but more importantly, because I am determined to always provide the most blessed video services.

How it Began

When I was 15, my friends and I decided to make a time capsule (very iconic of us), and I was like, “Wait—we need a video in this.” So we filmed ourselves throwing confetti and frolicking through our suburban streets like we were in a coming-of-age movie. I edited it all together and instantly fell in love with the process.

I showed it to my sister and her husband, and my brother-in-law was like, “You should be a wedding videographer.” I had literally never heard of that before—but it stuck.

For my 16th birthday, my sister gifted me her first camera, and from then on, I brought that little thing everywhere. I was filming everything cool I did, just completely obsessed.

Fast forward a few years, and it became super clear: this wasn’t just a phase—I wanted to do this for real.

Hi, I’m Jessah—the heart and hands behind jessahblessahfilms. I’m a wedding filmmaker with a soft spot for love stories, slow moments, and the kind of magic you can feel when you rewatch your wedding day years later.

My films are candid, nostalgic, happy and intentionally crafted to reflect you and your partner. I shoot with both digital and Super 8mm film to give your wedding day a timeless, romantic feel— like an heirloom you’ll pass down one day.

When I’m not filming, you can find me at a thrift store, trying out new restaurants, planning my next trip, or spending time with my really cute boyfriend (he’s the best).

Whether you’re getting married in your backyard or eloping, I’d be honoured to capture your love in a way that feels true to you.
