Jinaye + Jason got married on a rainy saturday in June. Not only was it the happiest and most FUN day ever, I got to see my beautiful sister marry the love of her life. I wanted to create a wedding film for her that felt so special and nostalgic but I also wanted to be present on her wedding day, so I had the VERY talented Janaye Films film her wedding as my associate, and I edited their wedding.

You may have wondered why their wedding film is just over 17 minutes long- that is because that’s what sisters do for their sisters. I couldn’t not include a single moment because i’m biased af and I think every moment was PERFECT. Editing their wedding film made me realize how precious these little moments are- nieces and nephews as “flower people”, all four of us sisters shaking our butts together on the dance floor, and our huge family all reunited.

While editing this wedding it made me realize how truly important these little moments are for each of my clients. I want to include as much of the happy and cute footage as I can into each wedding film because I know how much it will be cherished.

After I finished editing their wedding I showed it to my everyone in person and filmed their reactions. as tears rolled down their faces, and as everyone laughed, and recalled all the of the happy moments it reaffirmed my love for wedding Filmmaking. IT IS SO IMPORTANT.
